This is a Swedish film based on a best selling book. 59 year old Ove is the kind of obstinate oaf who dislikes strangers and enforces the strict bylaws of the residential block. Widowed a year ago, Ove has just been made redundant from his job on the railway, his parting gift a spade. When new neighbours move in from Iran his life changes. Using flashbacks we see where Ove is coming from. Ove is played by 6’4” Rolf Lassgard who played Wallander in the original Swedish TV series. Entertaining moving feel good film.
