Entertaining, if a simplified version of Alan Turings Life and Account of his part, during WW11, in breaking the "Enigma Code" - the Germans' unbreakable code.
(only passing mention of the Polish codebreaker).
Well acted by all concerned especially Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, once again in a British film the excellent team of British character actors make the film special.
Benedict's portrayal of Alan Turing is amazing, watching this actor work with a subject is a joy. Keira Knightley gives one of her best performances as Joan Clarke, the woman who comes to understand Turing the best.
An altogether excellent, entertaining film.
The AGM of Linlithgow Film Society will precede the showing of the film.
