James McAvoy plays Kevin a man diagnosed with 23 distinct personalities (we only see 8), he is being treated by psychiatrist Dr Karen Fletcher (Betty Buckley) but unknown to her he has kidnapped 3 girls. Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy) one of the girls tries to influence one of the personalities to help them escape, not knowing that deep down the 24th personality “the beast” is about to emerge.
Trivia:- M Night Shyamalan originally wrote the Kevin character for “Unbreakable” (2000), but decided to use him in a separate film 15 years later.
