A musican, Jack (Cooper) helps a young singer, Ally (Lady Gaga) to find fame & fortune as age/alcoholism sends his own career into a downward spiral. Excellent performances from both Cooper and Lady Gaga who sings a jaw dropping version of “La Vie en Rose” and received a best original song Oscar for “Shallow”.
