A fictionalised version of the discovery of the Folk Group from Port Issac, Cornwall who had a top 10 album of Sea Shanties in 2010. Danny (Mays) is a London Music Agent sent to Cornwall to book a “group” but finds (and signs) Fisherman’s Friends. His colleagues are shocked but he perseveres and the Film follows his journey in both music and romance.
A genteel, feel good British Rom Com more fiction than fact but much of it did happen - just sit back and enjoy.
